Kat Simmons is a veteran of the national comedy club circuit. You may have seen her at The Improv or Catch A Rising Star, or on television’s Comedy Channel, Fox’s Comedy Tonight, or on Candid Camera.

She has opened for Tim Allen, Diane Ford and most recently Kenny Rogers (shown below, in fabulous matching blue outfits!), and is in high demand to headline corporate events.

Kat has a unique talent for combining physical comedy with real life situations that everyone can relate to. She has been favorably compared to the masters of the craft, Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett. You may recognize yourself in some of her material as she honestly shares with the audience as though they were all long time friends.

Kat moved back from L.A. to the beautiful Carson Valley (just below Lake Tahoe) to do what she loves in the area she loves. When not on “the road” she produces and hosts her own show at The Carson Valley Inn in Minden, Nevada, called Comedy Night Live. She’ll celebrate her tenth anniversary for this popular home based show this year.

Kat has a versatility and approachability that makes her perfect for large corporate functions, casinos, comedy clubs and private parties. She has a knack of incorporating the group at hand into her show and makes them part of her performance.

She has performed for various groups from tow truck drivers and fence contractors to doctors and engineers. Somehow, she always manages to find a common thread with her audience.

Kat has a son and daughter and therefore has also added stain removal specialist to her resume.
